As a parent of a teen entering a FUHSD school next year, choosing our next board trustee is deeply important to me. Having known Jason and his family for years, I've seen firsthand his devotion as a parent and his upstanding integrity. Jason is highly intelligent, competent, and genuinely trustworthy. Because his own two kids will be attending a FUHSD school, he has a direct, personal stake in our district's success. As someone who graduated from Monta Vista 25 years ago, one of the key considerations for moving back to the area was the high school. I believe Jason has the integrity to do what is right and the skillset to be effective in representing Area 3 on the school board.

Jason will bring his rich entrepreneur experience into our FUHSD and hold our educators accountable. He has 2 incoming Monta Vista High students, and he will ensure our school district put our kids first. The school district succeeds when our students succeed. The school district should serve the students, not any special interest group.

As someone who started out as a non-English speaking immigrant student and went on to excel in public schools, Jason Lin understands the challenges many current FUHSD students face. Moreover, he has blazed a trail in the digital economy and is a shining example of the business success our students aspire to. Jason’s eagerness to give back to our students and schools, and to bring authentic learning and development experiences to our young learners would make him an invaluable asset to the FUHSD board.

Jason listens carefully, genuinely cares about people, and knows how to help a group move forward toward a shared goal. As a friend who has spent time with Jason and his family, I have seen how thoughtfully he approaches parenting and how deeply he cares for his family. As an FUHSD alumnus, I’ve seen firsthand how much the high school years can shape a student’s values and opportunities. In my experience, Jason is thoughtful, principled, and guided by a strong sense of responsibility. His experience building multiple successful companies also gives him a practical understanding of leadership and problem solving.

Jason is not a politician. And that's why he's the perfect choice. I've known and worked with Jason for almost two decades and he's been the same — see a problem...solve that problem. No “it's not my job”, no “that's beneath me”, no “not my problem”. He just rolls up his sleeves and gets it done. That's why I wasn't surprised to hear that he threw his hat in the ring here. He cares deeply for education and if he notices a problem — rest assured he'll be on the front lines to solve it.

I’ve had the privilege of serving with Jason Lin on the Thess Bar board and getting to know him and his family personally. Jason is thoughtful, highly intellectual, and a strong critical thinker, but what I appreciate most is his sincere heart for his family and his genuine concern for the welfare and future of his children. He has a gift for taking complicated and sometimes ambiguous issues, sorting through them carefully, and turning them into clear, practical, results-driven actions. I believe those qualities will serve the students and families well on the FUHSD Board.

As an FUHSD student, I care about having strong teachers, challenging classes, and opportunities that actually prepare students for life after high school. Jason Lin has talked about protecting academic programs, supporting teachers, expanding career and internship opportunities, and helping students learn how to use AI responsibly. Those are issues that directly affect students like me, and I appreciate that he is focusing on them in his campaign for the FUHSD Board.

Jason understands the needs of the students to prepare them for the future. His excellent leadership skills will build consensus by collaboration with his fellow Trustees to solve issues while placing the focus on what is best for the students.
