Great schools require great teachers—and campuses families can count on.
- I will oppose closing Monta Vista High School or Homestead High School. I will also require a full public process before any campus decision.
- Preserve rigorous courses and retain excellent teachers
- Cut duplicative reporting and red tape so teachers can focus on teaching
Prepare every student
Every student needs a path forward—and support to walk it.
- Teach practical, responsible AI literacy in every school
- Expand internships with local employers and build clear college, career, and entrepreneurship pathways
- Find students falling behind early—including English Learners—and fund what measurably closes the gaps
Partner with parents
Parents belong in decisions—not in the audience after they are made.
- Respect parents as the primary decision-makers in their children’s education; schools should support—not replace—that relationship
- Give families a real voice while choices are still open
- Publish goals, results, tradeoffs, and student impact before major votes
MY STORY
Public schools gave me the American Dream.
I came to America as a young child unable to speak English. In a public-school classroom, teachers saw possibility in me before I could see it in myself. They gave me the language, confidence, and opportunity to find my way.
At UCLA, I graduated as a commencement speaker. From there, I earned a top-tier MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and built a career helping grow five unicorn companies. Today, I pass those lessons forward as a guest lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Public schools changed the course of my life. Now, as the father of two future FUHSD students, protecting that promise could not be more personal. I’m running to ensure every child—wherever their story begins—has the opportunity and preparation to write their own.
With your vote, I will bring to the Board an executive’s discipline, an educator’s curiosity, an immigrant’s gratitude, and a father’s sense of urgency.
